Ibiza & Formentera

Two islands, two tempos — and a crossing between them that remains one of the great short passages in the Mediterranean.

Introduction

Ibiza is understood too often through its nightlife and too rarely through its water. Seen from a yacht, the island becomes a sequence of north-coast bays, pine cliffs and long, slow afternoons — with Formentera an hour to the south, its sandbanks so pale the sea reads white. The private version of these islands is quieter, earlier and considerably more beautiful than the public one.

Why Aurum here

Access is everything here in July and August: the right mooring at Illetes, a table at an establishment that no longer takes reservations, a tender waiting when you want to leave. We arrange all of it before you arrive.

Best travel periods

May to October. June and September combine warm water with a calmer island.
